He was the team's main guy off the bench as he continued to provide instant offense when superstar James Yap was resting. The 30-year-old shooting guard was also hampered by an injury last season that's why his numbers dropped significantly. Simon suited up for 52 games but averaged just 5.6 points per game, his lowest since his 4.4 ppg in 2005-06 season which also ended his three straight seasons of averaging in double figures. and so this is my idol PETER JUNE SIMON..my, MVP, my man, my idol, my dream.. 


basketball is my first love..can you imagine a four year old girl crying over a loss game of her fave team?
exactly that age, i was a total addict of basketball..


more than a decade passed, still my heart for this sport beats..


and it continue beating for this man..the man over-shined by his co team players.. the man who never gained popularity on his first run to PBA..the man who was just remembered on several games.

People are asking who he is, as obviously he is not as famous as James Yap, haha!But--- I never ended supporting him.. even though most of the time he would just be playing for few seconds and back to bench again.. the moves he showed on that limited time just then added my desire to support him more..


for many years, I am just contented seeing him on television..and nothing more compares my overflowing joy when he was recognized as a super substitute for James Yap..yes, only a sub, but then, at long last, he was recognized..


Just this year, my prayers of meeting him personally was answered.

I've been dreaming of this day. I even included it on my dreamboard "to meet my only PJ one day"
God is so good, I never thought that this day would actually happen.. And mind you, it was not just a simple meet and greet, God  loves me so much that He gave me a chance to ride on PJ's car..Whew! My heart was kinda exploding!

It was a dream come true..God is so magnificent..

As long as I can shout, as long as I can give my standing ovation, and as long as I live...I WILL CONTINUE LOVING YOU PJ! and i will support you, NO MATTER WHAT!
